Time Crossed A Time Thief Novella A Penguin Special from Signet edition by Katie Macalister Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks

This was very short and not a full story. The blurb indicated that this is not a standalone but part of the Time Thief series. To me it was more like a long deleted scene out of book 2. I started to read this before book 2 but it was confusing. Then I read book 2 and went back to this novella and the story made more sense.

Time Crossed A Time Thief Novella A Penguin Special from Signet edition by Katie Macalister Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews

There is no reason to purchase this book. It is simply a preview of "The Art of Stealing Time." I'm a bit upset because I feel I got kind of screwed. I thought I was getting a short story, something new, not a preview of the next book.
I had a really hard time getting into this series. The first book is OK, but after that it went down hill. I love Katie Macalister, but this was not her best work in my opinion.
What can I say? I happen to be an avid fan of Katie's style of writing and even a short sample is better than none at all! I have been known to break out in hysterical laughter at the situations her characters find themselves trying to solve. Hence, I no longer read her works in public places.
I read the first time traveler book and loved it. this....was just not called for. it didn't make sense. having a blurb like of a diary just a couple of pages, could have been put on the 2nd book. it didn't make sense. the last thing gwen said wasn't even in the next book, and all of that could have been just a preview of the second book itself. I was disappointed.
Katie Mac is my all time favorite author! And she does not disappoint with this novella. This is a prequel to her next novel due out in September The Art of Stealing Time. I highly recommend all her series!
The characters are intriguing and engaging. The book is laugh out loud funny. Romantic. Everything you could want in a paranormal romance. I don't like reviews that give away the story so you won't get that here.
I really liked this book. I love the way the main characters interact. My only criticism is the story ended too soon! Just when it was getting interesting it ended. A real cliff hangar. Now I have to wait to find out what happened with Gwen and Gregory. I actually read this book first then went back and read TimeThief. You can read Time Crossed by its self but I think if you read the books in order things will make more sense. So far I love everything I have read by Katie MacAlister. Can't wait for more!!
Let me ay first that I love Katie MacAlister Books!! But I think this story was an extra that really wasn't needed. I think this could be add to the regular book "The Art of Stealing Time", Which I loved. I realize that this is the prelude to Art and gave more information regarding the rescue that Gregory did for Gwenny but instead of paying the 1.99 for it I would have preferred it to be included as a excerpt in the front of the book instead of a stand alone Novella.
This was very short and not a full story. The blurb indicated that this is not a standalone but part of the Time Thief series. To me it was more like a long deleted scene out of book 2.
